Morayfield West Early Childhood Centre and Pre-school is a privately owned childcare centre in Morayfield. The centre is open from 6am to 6pm every week day. We care for children from 15 months to 12 years, including before and after school programs.
The centre also has a courtesy bus for families who are without transport. We are committed to providing the highest quality care in the shire. Our fully air conditioned centre provides a beautiful atmosphere where children can play and learn in comfort. The playground has with a lovely homely feel, with real grass and trees, it also very private.
Quality care equals happy, content children. The children are provided with educational programs that foster the child as a whole. Morayfield West Early Childhood Centre is a well resourced centre that provides activities to enhance fine and gross motor skills as well as social and language development.
Our Programs:
The School Readiness room provides a stimulating program designed to ensure children are ready to move into the school environment. The program incorporates letter and number recognition, pre writing development.
Our staff program with the being, becoming and belonging in mind, operate an Emergent Curriculum and focus on the kindergarten guidelines.
Our Kindergarten Program:
At Morayfield West EEC&P we want to ensure that our children have the best possible start to their Schooling years. To bring this into effect we are currently implementing the Kindergarten guidelines alongside the Early Years Learning Framework in our school readiness room. In order to adequately run this program it is a requirement that children are taught by a Bachelor trained Early Childhood educator. Our most important goal with the Emergent curriculum is to inspire delight, curiosity and inquiry within the classroom. These are the greatest gifts our Teachers can give the children within our care.
My name is Miss Rebecca and I am a qualified registered Early Childhood Teacher, which means the centre is now able to access the government Kindy Program. My aim is to prepare your child for the next step in their education, primary school.
We will be working with the local schools in the area to ensure that we are preparing your child in all areas for prep next year. Our focus wil be on developing the children's social skills, curiosity and love of learning. Please feel free to share your ideas and any concerns you may have. At the moment we are learning about the environment and how to look after it and exploring all the healthy foods that we can eat.

Our Nutritious Meals:
Our centres offer a nutritious, healthy menu prepared by Dietitians and Naturopath with an alternating menu of hot food and sandwiches for lunch, coupled with a healthy morning and afternoon tea. We believe that children deserve the best possible variety of food to help their little bodies grow & their brain to function to their optimum.
To ensure a high standard of nutrition & quality, all meals:
• Are screened by a qualified & experienced Dietitian and Naturopath for any nasty artificial ingredients, content of sugar, salt and bad fats
• Contain no nasty artificial flavours, colours, preservatives or additives
• Is prepared by a team of qualified and experienced Chefs
• Containno nuts, eggs or seafood
• Cater fora range of dietary requirements
• Contain carefully selected ingredients to ensure a high level of nutrition for the children
